At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Community, Children’s Religious Education (C.R.E.) offers a comprehensive faith formation program for children in elementary grades. Through weekly classes, students learn the foundations of the Catholic faith, including Scripture, prayer, Church teachings, and the liturgical life of the Church. The program also prepares children to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, typically through a multi-year process that emphasizes both knowledge and spiritual growth.
Classes are led by trained and dedicated catechists who create a welcoming and engaging environment for learning and faith development. As highlighted in parish communications, parents play an essential role as the primary educators of their children’s faith and are encouraged to be actively involved in their child’s religious formation through participation, at-home support, and regular Mass attendance.
