At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Community, Spiritual Communion is a meaningful way to remain united with Christ when one is unable to receive the Eucharist in person. Through prayer and a sincere desire to receive Jesus, the faithful are invited to open their hearts to His presence and grace, especially during times of illness, travel, or other circumstances that prevent attending Mass. This devotion allows individuals to stay spiritually connected to the Eucharist and to the life of the Church.

 Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
